Education & Experience
Originally from Lakeville, Minnesota, Dr. Ringeisen earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in Minneapolis. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, followed by a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at VitreoRetinal Surgery in Minneapolis. Dr. Ringeisen provides specialized retinal care to patients in Eau Claire on a scheduled, periodic basis while also practicing in Minnesota. During his time here, he is dedicated to delivering advanced vitreoretinal care to the Chippewa Valley community. Dr. Ringeisen prioritizes patient education, taking the time to help patients and their families understand retinal conditions and actively participate in their treatment plans.

Outside the Clinic
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Ringeisen enjoys golfing, running, and visiting historic sports stadiums. He and his wife, Laura, along with their children are longtime Wisconsin Badgers Football season ticket holders and love hosting tailgates for family and friends at both home and away games.
